The Input-material is fed into the cutter compactor drum in a "controlled" manner depending on the load on the cutter compactor drive. Rotating knives, which are mounted on the rotor disc, cut the material. The resulting drum-shaped movement heats the material by means of friction, drying and compacting it in the process. The polymer, which is now optimally prepared, is then conveyed into the tangentially arranged extruder, where it is gently melted, homogenized, and fed to the downstream equipment. Each zone of the bimetallic cylinder is equipped with heating-cooling station, including a temperature sensor for precise control of the extrusion process. The whole unit, including feeding, melt filtration and pelletizing is PLC controlled. incl. integrated intake slider at extruder-inlet, electrically operated incl. melt temperature- and melt pressure sensor with indication on HMI incl. oscillation-sensor-unit (detects solid foreign particles in cutter drum) incl. control of Polymer-Predensification Exhaust system from the Cutter-Compactor is not included in the scope of quotation, but can be provided as an additional item if requested.
